So we started using this really neat software at work called Rohos Logon Key. Long story short, it lets us login to our PC using a secure one time password generated on a YubiKey. This makes our logins WAY more secure for our workstations while also making them much quicker. Essentially, we just plugin the key, and push the button. The voila, we’re in. Wonder what I mean by that title? I want to point out to everyone that innovation is key to success. That’s how I succeed at least. I was able to start Kirbside Enterprises with zero capital and rise it to a large design firm in Denver that designs for clients I can’t even tell you about (contractually). Some of them aren’t even open yet! Why? Because I innovate for tomorrow. All of our sites use today’s modern techniques of web design, integrated with tomorrow’s methods. This includes things like HTML5, and new methods of Search Engine Optimization marketing that almost noone uses. Now that may seem like it makes me the odd one out, but that’s right where you want to be. If you are building the next great thing, it needs to be the NEXT great thing. Not today’s great thing. I have an established set of products that will continue to be considered “innovative” for years to come. And I already have new things planned to innovate on.
