Hello reader, I would like to introduce you to the AAXA Pico P1 Micro Projector. This is the first one with on board memory! That’s right this thing features 1GB of on board memory, store your MP4, MP3, AVI, JPG, and WMV files on this thing and it’ll play them with it’s on board media player. This thing can project up to a 60″ image (depending on light), and features 640×480 VGA capability. It has RGB, PDA, iPod (cryPod), and DVD inputs. But the most attractive thing to us was the PSP input. That’s right, you can plug your PSP into this thing and project your game right onto the wall. Here is AAXA’s demo of what this thing can do:

I learned about the Dell Adamo XPS some time ago, and that Dell had been giving minor details about it here and there. Well the teasing is over with. Dell announced that it would Launch it’s new laptop October 22nd (ironically the same day Windows 7 is to release). This is the worlds slimmest laptop, at an amazing 0.39 inches (yes that is less than an inch) tall, this laptop is still a secret. Dell has not revealed the hardware and specs just yet and with good cause! This looks like it is going to be an amazing machine, and will shock everyone! This thing is so slim, there isn’t any room for a button to open the lid. Apparently it will have a heat sensing strip that will pop the lid open by setting your fingers on it! You will be able to own this at a hefty $2,000 starting October 22nd. Next week should be an interesting week in technology!

Rumors have been leaked via Engadget that Microsoft is opening an official “Retail Store”. Apparently so, in Scottsdale… and it is due to open October 22nd, 2009 (the official release date of Windows 7). Now this is crazy Microsoft, but it just might work. Supposedly you will be able to buy Windows laptops, desktops, phones, operating system and more. They will even allow visitors to play XBox games on a 94″ in store TV screen. That’s HUGE! It appears that this will be somewhat of a large Apple store, minus the shelves full of paperweights. They will apparently also have a service counter to bring in your Microsoft Gear and get it fixed. It is also reported, from other sources, that major accessory retailers (eg. Belkin although we are not sure if they are included), will sell products in there such as USB hubs and such. Now we are still skeptical of this hole idea, we haven’t confirmed it ourselves and Engadget received the news from tipsters. If this is the real deal, Microsoft must be spending a great deal of money on it. It is a great idea and DKPWD can’t wait to see what happens with it (that is if this place actually exists).

He sais it is basically an unnecssary and useless part of the URL. Speaking at a symposium on the future technology, he noted (in reference to these annoying marks) the paper, human labor and trees that could have been spared without them…

What the DKPWD team thinks:

Hey Tim: Don’t worry about it, you brought upon us the most widely used invention ever. I’m sure everyone can overlook the double slash!
